Support TGH Heart and Vascular Team Members in Memory of Stephen Fluharty

Our dear colleague and friend, Stephen P. Fluharty, passed away on August 11, 2022 at the age of 71. Stephen was a commercial lender at The Bank of Tampa, where he was Executive Vice President and proudly served the community for 25 years.

Stephen was involved in many charitable organizations in Tampa Bay, including the Tampa General Hospital Foundation, where he served as a member of the Golf Tournament Committee for over two decades.  Stephen was always the first to lend a helping hand for the annual tournament which raised much needed funds for various areas at TGH. 

The Bank of Tampa will honor Stephen’s memory and service to Tampa General Hospital and the Tampa General Hospital Foundation by establishing nursing scholarships for TGH team members in the Heart and Vascular Institute.  We hope that you consider making a charitable contribution to the Stephen Fluharty Memorial Scholarship Fund to show gratitude to the many that cared for Stephen while he was at TGH.
