Support the TGH Patient Assistance Fund

Patients almost never expect to end up at Tampa General Hospital. 

When they do, the medical challenges they face are often matched only by the financial burdens that result from time away from work, their families, and their responsibilities.

For generations, the TGH Foundation has stepped in to help patients who need it the most through the Patient Assistance Fund. This fund helps patients with unexpected expenses that come from a hospital stay – assisting with everything from providing gas money to ensure patients can travel to and from the hospital, to assisting with rent payments to provide housing security during recovery.

In the past two years, the TGH Foundation has provided financial assistance to more than 175 patients through this fund. Our patients who have benefitted from the Patient Assistance Fund often express their deep gratitude.
