Support TGH Head and Neck Cancer Patients

Tampa General Hospital is one of only three academic centers in the region to offer comprehensive head and neck oncologic care. Collaboration between our specialized otolaryngologists (ENTs) and neurosurgeons allows us to provide world-class care for both benign and malignant tumors. Our division specializes in managing complex disorders of the face, neck, and upper airway and together every patient’s case is reviewed to define a personalized care plan, most likely to ensure the best possible outcome. 

A head and neck cancer diagnosis can be isolating, due to its impact on speech, swallowing, and facial appearance. To combat this, we have established a patient and family community to support the long-term quality of life of our patients. This group meets quarterly and hosts special events to enhance community awareness of head and neck cancer.

Dr. Mifsud and his team want to host a special night for his patients to come together and enjoy a night out. Our goal is to raise $15,000 from our community to support “A Night Out for Patients with Head and Neck Cancer” and year-round community events. This will enable our patients to experience a night of connection and support within the TGH community.
